Colchester United's Mandela Egbo is looking for an away win at Crewe this weekend.
A much changed U's side lost to Spurs U21s in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night, but have picked up four points from their last two league matches.
Tranmere were beaten 2-0 two weeks ago, then only a late Mansfield equaliser prevented Ben Garner's side gaining six points from two consecutive home matches in League Two.
And defender Mandela Egbo wants to add to those points this Saturday, as well as put Tuesday's result behind them
"Preparations have been ok, obviously we have got to bounce back from the game the other day but I’m sure we’ll have fresh legs to go out there and give ourselves the best shot at getting the three points."
"Our league form of late has been better and improved, but it can still improve even more.
"We’ll be taking the positives from what we’ve done over the past few weeks and hopefully implement them against Crewe."
On a personal note, Manny has hit the ground running since he signed, starting in each of the last five league matches before being rested for the Trophy clash in midweek.
He is pleased with his contributions so far, but wants to get better and be an asset to the team.
