Chay Cooper has been recalled from his loan spell at Hartlepool.
The youngster joined the National League side midway through February, and has made nine appearances in his spell in the North East.
He will miss Hartlepool's final game of the season, but will be hoping to be involved with the U's over the next week.
It is expected that Chay will travel to Notts County this weekend for the U's final away game of the campaign, with home games to come next week against Doncaster and Crewe.
The U's sit four points above Sutton going intop this weekend's fixtures and need to match their result on Saturday to secure League Two safety.
