Danny Cowley has been speaking ahead of the U’s clash with Doncaster Rovers at the JobServe Community Stadium on Tuesday 23rd April (KO 7:45pm).
The Head Coach said: “I think it’s a great game for us against a good Doncaster team. We've got total clarity over what we need to do.
“Like I said on Saturday, we want to do it for us, I don’t think anybody's given us a leg-up all season, so we know what we need to do. We've prepared well leading into the game.
“We understand Doncaster are in a good moment. I think Grant McCann has done a really, really good job there in the second half of the season.
“I think to win nine games on the trot at any level is an outstanding achievement. They obviously had a big win on Saturday against Barrow. I had a good chance to watch that game back and that looked like a really exciting finale and a good advert to League Two.
“But we understand where their strengths are, and we also know that we have a lot of strengths ourselves, and when we've played the best teams at home, it's often brought the best performance out of ourselves as well.”
