Hall gets new U21s addition

Conor Hubble has signed a U's contract.

The eighteen year old will link up with Richard Hall's U21s squad, having impressed during a trial spell at the end of last season.

Hubble, hailing from Chelmsford, served his apprenticeship at Queens Park Rangers but was told earlier this year that he wouldn't be getting a contract with the Londoners. Hall offered the midfielder a trial and after some impressive performances in the final few matches for the U21s, a contract was put to the youngster.

That was signed on Monday afternoon and Hall was pleased with the latest addition to his development squad.

"Conor is an attacking midfielder with a great ability to make clever runs forward both on and off the ball."
"As well as having good ability, he works extremely hard and has great fitness levels.

"He came to us after being released by QPR and we wanted to get him in for a few matches in readiness for this season.

"He played well in all the games and got himself a few goals as well. I'm sure if he continues to work hard on his game, he will be an asset to us."
