Striker joins on loan from Charlton.
The U's have made their second venture into the loan market this week with the addition of Charlton Athletic striker Michael Smith.
21-year-old Michael has been part of the Addicks' successful U21s side this season, with the London side currently topping the U's division.
He started his league career with Darlington, scoring 6 in 37 appearances before being snapped up by Charlton on a three year contract.
Since being at The Valley, he has been out on loan at Accrington Stanley (scoring 3 in 6) and also Newport County (scoring 4 in 8).
He has also made his first team debut for Chris Powell's men this season, playing in the Capital One Cup game against Leyton Orient earlier this season.
Michael has joined on loan for an initial month long period, up until April 6th.
