U's loanee midfielder Craig Eastmond is set to miss the remaining games of his spell at Colchester United due to injury.
The Arsenal youngster has played a big part in the U's fortunes since arriving for Joe Dunne's first game as manager, but picked up a foot injury in training on Friday last week.
He has since been deemed to have broken a bone in his foot and was due to undergo a small operation on Tuesday to rectify the problem.
Craig has played thirteen times for the U's, scoring twice - including his first senior goal.
