Left back comes in from West Brom.
U's boss Joe Dunne has ventured into the loan market ahead of Saturday's trip to Sheffield United, by snapping up West Bromwich Albion left back Bradley Garmston.
Bradley, who is a Republic of Ireland U19s international, has joined the U's on an initial month's loan and subject to paperwork clearance, will be in the squad that travels to Bramall Lane this weekend.
The teenager, who joined West Brom aged 13, has been a regular in the Baggies' U21s squad this season, but is yet to make an appearance for Steve Clarke's first team.
He will bring plenty of pace to the U’s side, having previously been rated as the second fastest 100m and 200m runner in the UK for his age group at 16.
His pace comes from his mother, who has previously won Commonwealth Games gold and silver as a sprinter, amongst other European honours.
Bradley will wear number 3 during his loan stint with the U’s.
