Striker signs on loan from Cardiff City.
Colchester United have signed Cardiff City striker Rhys Healey on loan until December.The move, which is still subject to international clearance, will see Rhys initially join up with the U's until December 20th, up to and including the away game against Yeovil Town.
Rhys, who is in his second full season with the Welsh side, has scored freely with the City U21s and is now looking forward to taking that ability into the first team environment.
"I am really enjoying my time at Cardiff and still have two more years there yet, but this is a good chance for me to get out and play first team football and help Colchester up the league table."
"I've been down at the training ground today and it's a great set-up there and the players have already made me feel really welcome.
"I can't wait to get going and get some experience under my belt and to show people my ability," he told the U's official website on Friday.
