Striker heads out on loan.
Colchester United striker Femi Akinwande is heading out on loan, joining Maldon & Tiptree for a month.
Femi enjoyed a successful loan spell with Bishop's Stortford earlier in the season and will get another opportunity to gain match time with the high-flying Jammers.
We wish Femi well in his loan spell.
The powerful forward, who came to the U's attentions when he was previously with Maldon, will initially be with the Park Drive side until March 1st and begins his loan spell with a crunch clash at the top of the Ryman North, with a first v second clash against Brightlingsea Regent.
