Cycling To Orient

27 April 2017

Supporters hit the road for Alfie.

A band of intrepid Colchester United fans will make the journey to Leyton Orient by bike at the weekend, as they raise funds for a fellow supporter's family.

A number of U's followers will use pedal power to get to the crucial game at the Matchroom Stadium, setting off from 7am at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

The cyclists are raising funds for Tommy Leggett's son Alfie, following Tommy's own efforts in running to Cambridge earlier in the season.

They'll be heading out via Tiptree and the backroads to East London, so be sure to give them a toot or a wave if you spot them!
