U's Land Pompey Tie

Away trip to Portsmouth in Premier League Cup.

Colchester United's U23s will take on Portsmouth in the quarter finals of the Premier League Cup, after the draw was made on Tuesday lunchtime.

Having progressed through the group stages, the U's earned an impressive 1-0 win away at Sunderland in the Second Round.

And they will now take on Pompey's youngsters in the last eight.

The full draw for the quarter finals was as follows:-

Liverpool v Norwich City

Swansea City v Brighton & Hove Albion

Newcastle United v Reading

Portsmouth v Colchester United

Ties will be played from 31st March to 3rd April.
