Goalie returns to action for cup clash.
Colchester United goalkeeper Dean Brill will make his return to action, when the U's U23s travel to take on Sunderland in the Premier League Cup on Friday night.
The U's will take on their top flight opponents at Eppleton Colliery Welfare in a 7pm kick-off.
And Dean will make his first appearance in a Colchester United shirt since his arrival from Motherwell, when Wayne Brown's men take on the Black Cats.
With the first team game at Crewe on Saturday, it's a young U23s that heads north, aiming to build on the success of progressing from the group stages.
Entry to the game is priced at £3 for adults and £1 for over 65s and U16s, available on the turnstiles.
