Duo get a day out at the U's.
Two young boys from Clacton were given a day out at Colchester United on Saturday, as a reward for helping their diabetic mum.
At the end of 2014, Alf and Sam Roberts found that they were unable to awake mother Denise and called an ambulance to get emergency medical support.
They went on to receive a Chief Officer Commendation from the East of England Ambulance Service for their efforts and, having heard about the story, the U's invited the family along to a match.
The boys were able to make the weekend game against Scunthorpe and were given a tour of the stadium before getting to meet the players ahead of the 2-2 draw with the Iron at the weekend.
