Contract cancelled as left back moves on.
Colchester United have parted company with defender Ben Gordon, allowing the left back to seek pastures new ahead of the start of the 2015/16 season.
Ben joined the U's in the summer of 2014, coming down from Scotland to pen a two year deal with Joe Dunne's side.
However, after making 20 appearances for the club, he found his first team chances more limited in the second half of the season as Matthew Briggs arrived on loan.
With Matthew now a full time U's player, Ben has now had his contract cancelled by mutual consent to allow him to find a new club.
