Colchester United will be offering fans to watch the midweek away game at Bradford City – without having to make the long trip to Yorkshire!
The U's will be offering their first ever beamback for the match against the Bantams on Tuesday March 1st, with the chance to also enjoy some food before the game.
Doors for the beamback, which will take place in the U's Layer Suite, are set to open at 6pm and there will be plenty going on across the evening for this very special event.
Prices for the event are as follows:-
£8 – concession (U18s, 65+) admission only, unreserved table seating
£10 – adult admission only, unreserved table seating
£18 – admission, pie/mash/peas, allocated table seating
"We are delighted to offer this beamback opportunity for fans who might not be able to make the long trip to Bradford in midweek," U's General Manager Tim Waddington said.
"Beambacks have been introduced by the Football League this season. There's a cost, but we hope that we can attract enough fans to meet the cost and make it a more regular thing.
"Other clubs have tried this with great success during the course of the season, and we are pleased that Colchester United fans will also be able to benefit from the service.
"We have several plans to make it a memorable night at the Weston Homes Community Stadium and I am sure that everyone will be backing the team to bring three points back from Valley Parade."
