Goalkeeper pens U's contract.
Colchester United have signed young goalkeeper Dillon Barnes to bolster their defensive ranks.
The 19-year-old shot stopper, most recently with Bedford Town, has signed for the U's after impressing on trial in recent weeks.
Dillon has also previously been with Fulham in their U21s and has been training with the U's during August.
He has been between the sticks for each of the U21s three wins in that time, keeping a clean sheet in the victory over Bristol City last week, and has now penned a one year development contract.
He will also be eligible to be involved in the U's squad against Northampton on Tuesday night.
