Keeper earns U's contract
Elliot Parish has signed a deal for Colchester United.
The keeper has been involved in all four of the U's pre-season games and has impressed enough to be offered a one year contract.
Having started his career at Aston Villa, the twenty-five year old moved to Cardiff City in 2011 and subsequently Bristol City in the summer of 2013.
He spent a year at both City and Blackpool, and comes to north Essex with over fifty appearances under his belt.
He and Chris Lewington have been sharing the goalkeeping duties in pre-season so far, with Sam Walker regaining fitness following a knee injury.
