New Boys Face O's

23 January 2015

Trio could make U's debuts.

The U's new signings could all face Orient on Saturday in an important game at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Chris Porter, Matthew Briggs and Jack Marriott have all joined in the past few days and will be hoping for an early debut.

The new signings have been training with their new teammates at Florence Park and are all included in the twenty man squad to face the Londoners.

Alex Gilbey won't be available though, after twisting an ankle in training this week.

It was a blow to the young midfielder, who had just recovered from a similar injury and was an unused substitute last weekend against Walsall.

Long term absentees Magnus Okuonghae, Frankie Kent, Drey Wright, Michael O'Donoghue and Tosin Olufemi remain sidelined.

Tosin is expected back soon though, with the U21s game against Bristol City in February pencilled in for his return.

U's: Walker, Lewington, Clohessy, Gordon, Wynter, Vincent-Young, Briggs, Gorkss, Eastman, Fox, Lapslie, Moncur, Szmodics, Hewitt, Watt, Sembie-Ferris, Massey, Marriott, Bonne, Porter, Healey
