U's Help Comic Relief

Players visit Sudbury school for fundraising session.

Colchester United players joined with St Gregory Primary School in Sudbury last week to help raise money for Comic Relief.

As part of comedian Mark Watson's 27 hour stand-up show, the school took part in 27 activities to make the world a better place.

The school pupils ventured around Sudbury to visit people, giving out hugs, planting trees and getting the public to join in congas around the town centre.

And U's defenders Kevin Lokko and Michael O'Donoghue led a PE class on Thursday morning, with pupils suggesting that getting more people involved in sport would make the world a better place.

Kevin and Michael, along with fluffy hero Eddie the Eagle, ensured that the class were put through their paces and then spoke further about healthy eating and working hard in sport to reach your goals!
