Club to join community action on Friday.
Colchester United and their Football in the Community team will be helping with a Community Day of Action on Friday.
The U's will be visiting the St Andrews area of town to help with a litter pick, whilst also providing some community coaching for children in the local area.
"We are looking forward to helping out on the day," Community Development Officer Tom Tayler said. "We enjoyed a similar day in Lexden earlier in the season, so this one should be equally as positive for all concerned.
"Many of the club's supporters and FITC course attendees live within the St Andrews ward, so we are looking forward to seeing many of them on Friday."
