Colchester United boss Tony Humes has been shorlisted for September's League One Manager of the Month.
Tony guided his team to four wins and a draw in their league matches, lifting the U's from 23rd to 8th in League One ahead of last weekend's game against fellow high-fliers Bury.

A slow start to life in League 1 following promotion didn’t deviate Brown from his principles as Southend climbed to mid-table with four wins in five games, not conceding more than one goal in any September fixture.
Dave Flitcroft (Bury)
Oversaw a perfect month at Gigg Lane with Bury securing five successive victories. What made that all the more impressive was the difficulty of their fixture list which included trips to Sheffield United, Walsall and Peterborough.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (Burton Albion)
Led Burton to the top of League 1 for the first time in the club’s 65-year history. Has instilled a calm belief and an organisation that allowed his team to collect 10 points from five games, keeping three clean sheets on the way.

Built on the springtime momentum which saw the Essex club escape relegation with thrilling attacking play. By adding experience to a youthful core, his side picked up 13 points from five games, scoring 12 goals in the process.
