Colchester United's players were back together as a group for the first time on Wednesday as preparations for the new season stepped up a level.
The players were able to get the balls out for the first time, as they began their quest for match fitness ahead of the season opener against Blackpool on August 8th (buy tickets HERE).
They were put through their paces by Sports Scientist Stefano Russo, along with the U's management team of Tony Humes and John McGreal.
The first pre-season game is just ten days away, against Heybridge Swifts, and Tony is confident of further additions to the squad before then.
