The Hard Work Begins


The summer break was over for the U's first team, as they returned to pre-season training on Thursday morning.

Whilst the pros had all had summer programmes to do in their time away from the Weston Homes Community Stadium, they had to step it up a level at Five Lakes.

There were few complaints though, as the lads know that hard work on and off the pitch will go a long way to getting the club back into the Championship this season.

New faces Ashley Vincent, Magnus Okuonghae, David Fox and Lee Beevers were all in attendance as the squad were put through their paces on a warm summer's morning.

Please note that 2009/10 squad numbers are not officially confirmed until July 22nd, so the numbers worn at present may not be the players actual numbers for the coming season.
