U's fans are being encouraged to buy in advance to ensure that they get a place in their preferred spot for Liverpool's visit to Layer Road.

Whilst there is a likelihood that there may be cash turnstiles available on Saturday, fans are urged to pre-purchase their ticket from the Ticket office prior to entering the ground.

A big crowd is expected for a look at the contingent of U's new signings on show at Layer Road for the first time pitting their wits against the former European Champions.

NO SMOKING VENUE
Please be reminded that Layer Road is a No Smoking stadium and smoking is not permitted anywhere once you are in the ground. 

Fans are also reminded that they will not be able to leave the ground to smoke and then re-enter the U's premises.
