Jacko On The Mark Again?

Posted on: Fri 14 Dec 2007

U's midfielder Johnnie Jackson made it three for the season when he scored the opener down at Cardiff last Saturday.

The visitors of course fell to a heavy defeat in the end in South Wales, but Jacko will be hoping to further add to his tally in the televised clash against Norwich this weekend.

The former Spurs man has already scored in front of the TV cameras - he notched at Derby County last season - and is 20/1 to score the first or last goal this weekend and 13/2 to score at any time.

Much of the attention in this weekend's game will be on the return of Jamie Cureton to his former stomping ground and Curo is rated at 13/2 to break the deadlock on Norwich's behalf on Saturday.

For Curo to score first and then the U's to win 2-1, you'll get odds of 75/1.

The quest for that elusive clean sheet goes on and the U's are rated at 13/8 to keep Norwich at bay this weekend and 13/5 to win without their opposition scoring.

However, if you fancy another goalfest for the watching Sky Sports audience, you'll get odds of 12/1 for a 2-2 draw and 28/1 for a 3-2 Colchester win this weekend.

Remember, every bet placed benefits Colchester United directly, so if you're going to bet, make it the U's bet365 website!
