Man U Youngster Gets Reserves Chance

Posted on: Tue 15 Apr 2008
Manchester United youngster Chris Fagan will turn out for the U's reserves on Tuesday afternoon.

The 18-year-old Irishman will play in the second string match against Ipswich Town, after impressing in a behind closed doors game for the U's against Crystal Palace earlier this month.

The teenager, who played in the FA Youth Cup Final for United last season, is expected to play up front against the Tractor Boys in the 2pm kick off at Layer Road.

The rest of the U's side is similar to that which saw off MK Dons last week, with Adam Virgo added to the defensive unit after the Celtic loanee has been absent from first team duty in the past few weeks.

Admission, as always, is free.

U's: Cousins, Hammond, Balogh, Virgo, Nelson, Webb, Guttridge, Wordsworth, McLeod, Fagan, Guy, Oakley, Quintyn, Speed, Smelt
