The U's have made their sixth signing of the summer with the addition of Nigerian striker Akanni-Sunday Wasiu to their striking ranks.

Appearing in all three of the U's pre-season friendlies so far, 24-year-old Sunday has notched three goals to date - enough to earn him a permanent move to the Weston Homes Community Stadium side.

The powerful front man has shown up well in the friendly games and joins on a free transfer, bringing the U's forward numbers back up to four, following the recent departure of Kevin Lisbie.
