Supporters who made the most of the free Shuttle Buses from the Drury Arms and Fat Cat pubs for the Athletic Bilbao game will be delighted to hear about amendments made to the service for the coming season.

With many fans still keen to drink in the pubs that they frequented during the club's Layer Road days, the buses proved popular for the Bilbao clash and as such discussions have taken place over the past week about how that service can be continued.

And speaking to the offical website, CUSA Secretary Roger Westlake said: "Following discussions between CUSA and First Essex Buses, I can announce two improvements to our travel plans.

"From Saturday's game against Huddersfield Town, the buses that picked up passengers at the Drury Arms at 2pm and the Fat Cat at 2.05pm will return them to those locations after the game.

"These buses are only available to ticket holders and you will be required to give up your "Bus In" and "Bus Out" stubs to the driver on boarding.

"After the game these buses will leave the stadium at 5.15pm sharp.

"The second improvement is that these buses will also operate for evening games leaving the Drury Arms and the Fat Cat at 6.45pm and returning from the stadium at 10.00pm."
