Front man Steven Gillespie will look to further improve his match sharpness on Monday, when the U's reserves travel to Norwich City.

The U's have arranged the behind closed doors game with the Canaries to keep players currently not in the starting eleven match fit and raring to go over the hectic festive period.

Having returned from his hamstring injury, Gilly has now completed two sets of 25 minutes for Paul Lambert's first team and will be aiming to get more match time under his belt on Monday.

Also heading up to Norfolk are a number of other pros, including John White, Anthony Wordsworth and Phil Ifil.
