Gillespie Makes Southend Squad

The U's have been boosted by the news that striker Steven Gillespie has made the weekend squad for the derby game against Southend United.
Gilly has been out of action since limping off against Bristol Rovers in January, but has been deemed fit enough to make the provisional squad for the big Essex encounter.
Chris Coyne has also returned to the squad for the first time since Boxing Day, where he picked up a knee injury in the game in the match against Brighton & Hove Albion.
There will be no Paul Reid in the U's side though, with the big defender serving a one game suspension for a fifth yellow card picked up in the recent home defeat to Tranmere Rovers.
And the game comes too soon for both John White and Johnnie Jackson, who are out with shoulder and chest injuries respectively.
A packed house is expected for the clash against the Shrimpers, with well over 8,000 tickets already sold for the first ever Essex Derby at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The Ticket Office is open until 6.30pm on Friday night for purchases and collections, and to see the full prematch run-down on how you can beat the queues this weekend, click HERE!
