Boss Hopes For Gilly Impact

U's boss Paul Lambert is crossing his fingers that striker Steven Gillespie can make a big impression in the remaining weeks of the season.
The big summer signing from Cheltenham Town has endured a frustrating campaign to date, as injuries have prevented him from adding to his five goals so far.
And his manager sympathises with how the season has gone for him.
"It must have been massively frustrating for Steven so far," he said on Thursday.
"He is a terrific lad and it has been just as frustrating for me, because when he has played, he has always created chances for himself and the team and he can still be an important player for us this season.
"He came here for a heck of a lot of money and he hasn't had many chances to prove himself in the team.
"But when he's in the side, he is a danger to the opposition. The ball just seems to come to him and if we can keep him fit, he will be a threat for us."
The loan window shuts in three weeks time and, although Gilly is back on the bench and pushing for full fitness, the manager is still looking for what else might be out there.
"We are always trying to get someone in," the manager added.
"We have been dominating games but need to take our chances and so we have been looking to see what's out there. It is an area we are looking to strengthen."
