Young Reserve Side Travels South

Colchester United reserves will take a youthful looking side down to Roots Hall on Wednesday afternoon for the latest second string game.

The squad making the journey to the south of the county is made up entirely of youth team players, who will be looking to make an impression on the U's coaching staff.

Having been on the first team substitutes bench on Tuesday night, Sam Corcoran will lead the youthful looking side on Wednesday.

A win for either side will take them top of the Totesport.com table, with the U's also having played two games less than Southend, who currently sit second.

U's: Dickey, Griffiths, Stamp, Bailey-Dennis, Nelson, Corcoran, O'Sullivan, McCloskey, Malton, Lartey, O'Leary, Glowacki, Bender, Arnott, Hamilton
