Diamonds Complete Pre-Season Schedule

The U's hard work ahead of the 2009/10 season will be completed by a trip to Rushden & Diamonds.

Paul Lambert and his players are giving their all at present to ensure that they're ready for a big promotion push this season.

And, following friendlies against Aston Villa and Ipswich, the U's will conclude their warm-up with a game at Nene Park.

The match will take place on Saturday 1st August, with a 3pm kick-off.

Tickets for the game are priced as follows:-

Adults £10
Concessions (Students/60+) £5
U16s £2
U8s Free, if accompanied by an adult

The full pre-season schedule runs as follows:-

July 11th: Tiptree United (a)
July 21st: Aston Villa (h)
July 23rd: Heybridge Swifts (a)
July 25th: Ipswich Town (a)
July 28th: Histon United (a)
July 30th: Ebbsfleet United (a)
August 1st: Rushden & Diamonds (a)

At present, there are no confirmed details of a match during the U's tour of Germany in mid-July.

Tickets are selling well, meanwhile, for the game against Aston Villa at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
