Eight Pros In Action On Tuesday

The U's will take a good strength side down to Bromley for a friendly match on Tuesday night.

A total of eight first team professionals will travel to take on the Kent club ahead of the weekend's season opener against Norwich City.

With seven substitute places permissible on matchdays in the Football League this season, those travelling on Tuesday will be hoping for a performance to earn themselves a place on the coach to Norfolk.

There will be another outing for summer signings Gary Holt and Joel Thomas, whilst first year professionals Sam Corcoran and Russell Malton will hope to round off their impressive pre-seasons.

Phil Ifil, Matt Lockwood, Johnnie Jackson and Anthony Wordsworth will all also feature against the Blue Square South side.

Ticket prices for the game are as follows:-

Adults: £10
Concessions (Students, U16s and OAPs): £5

Kick-off for Tuesday night's fixture is 7.45pm.
