Platt Misses Dons Return

U's striker Clive Platt will complete his three game suspension this weekend.

The big front man has missed the past two games due to his sending off against Leyton Orient and serves the final match of that ban when the U's travel to take on his former side, MK Dons.

Whilst Clive will miss that match, two players will be up against their former side. Former U's loanees Jermaine Easter and Lewis Gobern both signed for the Dons in the summer and will hope to be involved on Saturday.

The U's still await the return to action of Paul Reid and Steven Gillespie from their long term injuries, but there are no other major worries this weekend ahead of the trip to stadium:MK.

And Joe Dunne's men will be looking to retain top spot in the division with their fourth win out of four on Saturday.

Their superior goal difference means that any kind of victory against Paul Ince's side will guarantee top spot going into next week's massive clash against Leeds United (ticket info HERE).
