Kem Begins Suspension

U's midfielder Kem Izzet will begin a three game suspension this weekend, following his sending off against Southampton last Saturday.

Kem was given a red card in the first half down at St Mary's, but the U's worked hard to ensure that they came back with a draw from Aidy Boothroyd's first game in charge.

His suspension will open the door for someone else to take his place in the heart of the midfield for the next three games and the U's boss will no doubt have been watching closely this week in training to see who can step in.

We'll have further team news later on Friday ahead of the weekend trip to the County Ground.
