Former Charlton Athletic trainee Kem Izzet will be back in contention for current side Colchester United in the U's latest League One clash on Tuesday night.

Kem will be hoping to face his former side, having completed a three game suspension at the weekend.

He has made a big impression since leaving the Addicks in 2001, making over 300 league appearances for the U's - one of only thirteen players to do so.

He will be hoping to celebrate his 29th birthday in perfect style with an appearance against Phil Parkinson's side, as the U's look to build on four points in their last two games.

The U's are waiting on Ashley Vincent for Tuesday's game, but again it comes too soon for Pat Baldwin as he continues his recovery from the injury sustained at Southampton in Aidy Boothroyd's first game.
