U's boss Aidy Boothroyd believes that his players can be boosted by the travelling support once again on Saturday.

The U's return to the road after last week's home game against Walsall and, following two away games with 1,000+ travelling support, a good number are expected to go to both Millwall and Bromley in the next fortnight.

The Lions are up first and Aidy is confident the U's supporters can play their part.

He told the official website: "The fans have been great for us away from home and, on top of that, there is an expectation at home now.

"Our fans have been great at getting behind the team, especially when teams come and try to stop you, and it is important that the fans keep their patience when we're trying to win a game.

"They've travelled in good numbers in recent weeks and I believe they will do their bit on Saturday at Millwall."

The U's head to London unbeaten in nine and they will be looking to extend that run in one of their toughest games to date under the current boss.

But Aidy is maintaining his focus, with the next game always the most important

"The most important game is the next game and that's how I always look at it," he stressed.

"We do six game cycles and know whats coming up, but sometimes you have to deal with whats right in front of you.

"We know what it takes to be successful, but like any journey, you start with one step and we're looking at the next step each time, and our next step is the game on Saturday."

Saturday's game will be FREE to tune into, if you try out our U's Player service. For more details, click the banner below.
