Tierney Misses Midweek Clash

The U's will be without defender Marc Tierney for the midweek clash against Stockport County, following his weekend red card against Oldham Athletic.

Marc was sent off for two yellow cards in the game against the Latics and will serve an immediate suspension of one match.

That means he will be available for the weekend cup tie against Hereford United, but will be on the sidelines supporting the team in their latest home fixture.

Marc's absence has seen Alan Maybury drafted into the squad for Tuesday night's match, but the U's will again be without Medy Elito as he serves the second of his three game ban for his own red card.

The U's have lost just once at home this season and will be looking to build on an unbeaten run of three games when they host Gary Ablett's side on Tuesday evening.
