Youth Team Do Their Bit

Following the club's earlier appeal to help clear the snow from the Weston Homes Community Stadium pitch, the U's younger players have been doing their bit.

Members of the youth team have been helping David Blacknall and his ground staff clear the playing surface of the weekend's snow fall as the U's look to prepare the pitch for the game against Southampton.

Volunteers wanting to help the U's clear the pitch are asked to come along to the stadium between 10am to 3pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and ask for Stadium Operations Manager Sean McQuaid.

If you do come along, please take care on the roads in the local area, which are still suffering from the recent wintry conditions.
