Colchester United and Carlisle United will hold fire on arranging a new date for last weekend's postponed fixture.

The two clubs have been in discussions over the past few days, but with both sides involved in FA Cup Third Round action on January 2nd, they have agreed to wait on the outcome of those games to decide on a suitable free date.

The Cumbrians face Everton in their Third Round game, whilst the U's travel to Preston on January 2nd.

We will update you with news of the confirmed fixture as soon as we get it.
