U's Wait On Defensive Pair

The U's will wait on the fitness of Paul Reid and Christian Ribeiro ahead of the weekend trip to Leeds.

Paul missed the midweek win over MK Dons with an injury picked up in training, whilst Christian was substituted just before half-time in the 2-0 victory.

Matt Heath stepped in at centre half on Tuesday night and could retain his place against his former side if Paul doesn't make the cut.

The U's will definitely be without midfielder David Prutton who, by the terms of his loan deal, will be unavailable to play against his current parent side.

But, for the second away game running, Ashley Vincent will travel with the first team as he moves closer to being available for selection.

The wide man has been out of action for nearly five months now, but is expected to be involved in the upcoming reserve team games to further bolster the U's squad.
