With the big Essex derby only a few days away, U's mascot Eddie the Eagle has been busy preparing himself for the visit of Southend United.

Eddie took Wednesday afternoon out from his busy schedule to throw some shrimps on the barbie.

The U's popular mascot is confident that Aidy Boothroyd and his team can also turn up the heat on the Shrimpers in Monday's match at the Weston Homes Community Stadium - and he wants to see you at the game!

Ticket sales are picking up ahead of the visit of Steve Tilson's men, so help make it a fiery atmosphere on Monday night as the U's look to complete the double over their Essex rivals.
