U's Ready For Daggers Semi

The U's take a strong squad to Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday evening.

Several first team squad members travel to South Essex for the game, which kicks off at 7.30pm, with a place in the Essex Senior Cup Final at stake.

The competition, supporting by the U's radio partners BBC Essex, has seen the U's field experienced sides and the semi-final continues that theme.

Mark Cousins, Phil Ifil, Danny Batth and Ian Henderson were on the U's bench for the League One game against Brighton on Monday night, while experienced duo David Fox and Alan Maybury also face the Daggers at Victoria Road.

Young pros Morten Knudsen, Sam Corcoran and Tom Bender will be looking to impress, along with the youth team members who make up the travelling party.

The outcome will be decided on the night, with extra time and penalties on offer should the scores be level after ninety minutes.
