Tamdown Back The Boys

Get your tickets! Did you know you can now buy tickets for ALL of the U's home games this season? Log on to colutickets.com! You can also ring 0845 437 9089 or visit either of the club's two shops!

Such has been the U's success on the pitch this season, that one business has already committed to following the club in 2010/11.

The U's have been riding high in the league all season and go into the final dozen games with real hopes of gaining promotion into the Championship under the management of Aidy Boothroyd.

And it is Aidy's work both on and off the pitch that persuaded long standing supporters Tamdown to commit to taking their executive box again for next season.

The ink was barely dry on Aidy's contract when he took over as U's manager in September when Tamdown chairman Mike Morris decided that he would definitely be involved in 2010/11 and he got to meet Aidy last week as the last bits of paperwork for next year's box were signed off.

"I had been involved down at Watford when Aidy was manager there and had always thought he had done a fantastic job," Mike told the website.

"I really liked how he went about his work and got everybody behind the cause down at Vicarage Road, so when he signed up to be Colchester United boss earlier this season, I couldn't have been happier.

"I had made my mind up back in September that I wanted to continue with our executive box and I am really pleased to have committed for next season.

"We have really enjoyed the matchday experience on offer in the executive boxes and we are looking forward to being involved once again. If that can be in the Championship, all the better!"

The confirmation of their executive box continues the long standing association that Tamdown have had with the club.

Having previously sponsored the matchday stewards, management kit and dugouts at Layer Road, Tamdown have remained involved since the U's switch to the award winning Weston Homes Community Stadium.

They have been one of a number of businesses to enjoy the first class hospitality opportunities now on offer at the 10,084 all-seater stadium, entertaining clients and watching the U's promotion push.

By committing now, Tamdown have been able to take advantage of our fantastic 2010/11 season ticket packages, meaning they will get League One prices, even if Aidy Boothroyd and the team secure their promotion to the Championship.

Executive boxes at the Weston Homes Community Stadium will start from just £7,500 for a box of ten next season, so there's never been a better time to get involved!

For more details about the matchday experience hospitality options on offer, take a look at the 2010/11 season ticket brochure, released at tonight's game against Brighton and available on the club's official website.
