U's Could Extend Prutton Stay

U's boss Aidy Boothroyd is keen to extend David Prutton's stay with the club.

The former Leeds United midfielder signed a contract until the end of the season when he first signed from the Yorkshire side.

Having made a positive impression - with two goals to his name since putting pen to paper originally - David could be with the U's next season if Aidy gets his way.

"I am looking to extend his stay," Aidy said on Thursday morning. 

"From when he first arrived, he has been a big presence around the squad and a voice in the dressing room.

"He has something to say and I like that and I make sure that I give it back! We'll be talking to him and seeing what we can do."
