The U's fell to a 3-1 defeat against Ipswich Town on Tuesday afternoon in their latest reserves team outing.

The U's, playing as the home side at Ipswich's Playford Road training ground, had led at half time thanks to a Steven Gillespie strike.

Ipswich had twice hit the woodwork in the first period, but it was the U's who had the advantage at the midway point.

In the second half, Town drew level through Pablo Counago not long after the restart but it was not until the dying stages of the game that the Tractor Boys took the lead through Owen Garvan.

And victory was sealed for Roy Keane's fringe players at the death when Lee Martin converted from a free kick routine for the Championship outfit.

We'll have more details on this game soon.
