Beevers On Target In Reserves Draw

Colchester United's reserves brought down the curtain on their season on Tuesday night with a 1-1 draw against East Anglian neighbours Norwich City.

Lee Beevers, playing in a central midfield role on his continued return to action, scored the U's goal in the first half, but the Canaries fought back to earn a share of the spoils in the second period.

The U's also saw triallist Ben Coker impress on the left of midfield, whilst first team hopeful Bradley Hamilton put in another solid display at full back as he hopes to make his debut this Saturday against Leyton Orient.
