Events At Saturday's Game

Colchester United fans are set for a busy day at the final game of the season against Leyton Orient on Saturday.

As well as the excitement of the final ninety minutes of the campaign, there are a host of other activities on offer at the weekend.

At the start of the day, the club will welcome the many riders that have completed the Teenage Cancer Trust bike ride between Ipswich and Colchester this weekend.

To acknowledge the riders' efforts, there will be a bucket collection in memory of U's fan Emily Begg for the Teenage Cancer Trust after the game.

In between that time, we will be presenting two of our Player of the Year awards ahead of the start of the game.

At around 2.35-2.40pm, we will be presenting the CUSA Home and Away Player of the Year awards, ahead of the superb evening we have coming up next week for our Official Player of the Year event.

At half time, local dance school Smooth Grooves will be performing on the pitch and, after the game, the team will be performing a lap of honour to thank fans for their support this season.

Please stay off the pitch after the game to allow the players to show their appreciation for your support.

With the sun expected to shine down and a good sized crowd in attendance, it looks like it'll be a great way to finish the season, so we hope to see you there!
