Reserves Get Underway On Wednesday

The U's reserves get their season underway on Wednesday night as they host Watford in the first home match of the new campaign.

Led by new Development Coach Richard Hall, the U's will take on the Hornets and continue the club's positive start to the new season.

The squad for Wednesday night's game demonstrates the strength in depth in the U's squad, with thirteen professionals in the sixteen man squad.

With Ben Williams returning to light training this week, the match will give U's supporters the first chance to see keeper Carl Pentney in action between the sticks.

Fellow new signing Lloyd James will play in midfield alongside Lee Beevers and Sam Corcoran.

The match kicks off at 7pm.
